F.A.Q.
IS IT POSSIBILE TO DO A GROUP LESSON?
During every session, our instructor can take up to 3 students on the boat. All lessons are individual (one student per time in the water) Your friends can hype you from the boat before their time to go in. We do offer some group packages/discounts.
IN WHICH LANGUAGES CAN LESSONS BE MADE?
We can teach you in English, Italian and Portuguese.
IS IT EASIER TO LEARN KITESURFING OR WINGFOILING?
Learning wingfoiling is easier cause it allows you to go in the water independently way before than a kitesurfing course would do. Once you know the basics, tho, the progression curve in kitesurfing is faster compared to the wingfoil progression.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING FOR MY WING LESSONS?
Take all the necessary stuff you would bring on a normal beach day! Sunglasses (with a leash, possibly), towel, flipflops, swimsuit, water and sunscreen are a must. Also, don’t forget a good dose of patience just in case we have to wait for the wind!
WILL I BE ABLE TO RENT EQUIPMENT ONCE I FINISH THE LESSONS?
If you are able to ride upwind, recover all your equipment in case of emergency and come back alone on the beach, relaunch your kite and recover your board without the need of assistance, yes.
CAN'T GET THERE BEFORE 9 AM, IS IT A PROBLEM?
Unfortunately our lessons boats are like buses. When they leave, they leave. The lessons start hours are written on the top of this page. We kindly ask you to be at the school ahead of time (lessons meetings are 1/2 hour before lessons start)
DO I NEED A MEDICAL CERTIFICATE?
You do. Any sport association in Italy requires a valid (not older than 6 months) medical certificate to access any course. You can download it here and have it filled up from your doctor.
WHAT HAPPENES IN CASE OF NO WIND?
In case of no wind, we will ask you to remain close to the school in case the weather suddenly changes. If there’s zero chance of wind, we will reschedule the lesson in the first available slot.
WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER?
In case of bad weather, we will try to inform you asap, so you won’t come to the school and loose a holiday day. If you are already in Campione, we will keep you waiting close to the school just in case the weather changes. If there’s zero chance of going in the water, we will reschedule the lesson in the first available slot.
i am a fast learner, what now?
If you are a master of watersports, good for you! Our lessons follow an international teaching program, but at the same time are flexible and customizable. If you learn very fast, we will manage to do more during lessons and you will reach a higher level by the end of the course.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE/BREAK THE EQUIPMENT?
Don’t worry. We are covered by insurance. Don’t destroy all our kites now that you know it!!!
